Here at McKenzie Cares our goals are to provide every man, woman and child a second chance with our variety of classes and food & clothes donations. Our classes include AA Parenting, Emotional support and Anger Management, Job application/ Resume assistance, Jobs for people with Felonies, After school care, Family support and a non-profit daycare.
Our Services
AA Parenting
Alcoholic Anonymous Parenting will be instructed by personnel certified in maintaining sobriety and court appointed, to improve relationships between parents and their children who have witnessed alcohol abuse.
Job Searches for Felons
We take the time out to help people who have been charged with felonies and rehabilitated find jobs suitable for their past professional experience and any certificates earned while in rehabilitation and is ex-felon friendly.
After School Care
After school care will provide snacks as well as tutoring for all ages K - 12.
Emotional Support & Anger Management
Will be lead by court appointed and trained mental health coaches to teach non-aggressive coping skills and will guide both children and adults through engaging their emotions in a healthy and beneficial way.
Summer Programs
Our summer programs offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for all ages 6 - 17, with educational classes and games for everyone!
Family Support
Family support classes will guide households to government assisted programs that will help with debt, Mortgage payments and more.
Prices will be income based.
Classes are free.
Job Application/Resume Assistance
Classes will teach young adults and recovering adults how to professionally complete all applications and effectively use prior experiences to form a professional resume.
Food & Clothing Donations
Food and Clothes giveaways will take place
Non-Profit Daycare
Our Non-Profit daycare will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and safe care for children who are newborn to 4 years old.
